Cuban renewable energy project continues to grow and be supported by the Foundation

In 2016, the Cuomo Foundation announced a collaboration with Las Tunas University in Cuba to establish a Renewable Energy Training Centre within the university.

The programme aims are to develop and train local populations and assist their communities to encourage green energy production.

The University of Las Tunas’ “Centre for Energy Studies and Technological Processes” provides technical assistance and support.
