Solidarity Concert by Youssou N’Dour in Senegal

Youssou N’Dour, dubbed ‘the most celebrated African musician in history’, is staging a concert on the 3rd April at the Grand National Theatre of Dakar. Proceeds raised will benefit the Centre Cardio-Pédiatrique Cuomo. The Senegalese musician is a powerful cultural icon who is actively involved in social issues and is chairman of the support committee for the CCPC.

The specialist cardio-pediatric medical centre is a joint venture by partners Chaîne de l’Espoir, Cuomo Foundation and the Senegalese Ministry of Health. Due to be completed mid 2017, the innovative centre will transform medical care for the children of Senegal and its neighbours.
