In order to commemorate the 11th death anniversary of Mr Alfredo Cuomo, the Founder of Cuomo Foundation, this initiative was taken to mitigate the crisis faced by the downtrodden people during this pandemic situation.

As per the humble request of the Archbishop of Madras–Mylapore Most Rev George Antonysamy, Cuomo Foundation and the Archdiocese of Madras–Mylapore jointly organized a programme to reach out to the underprivileged people at their crucial hour of Covid-19, Cuomo Foundation initiated this programme to ensure comprehensive kits of essentials, including dry ration and personal hygiene care materials to 2000 poor children families studying in 38 different schools in and around Chennnai and Thiruvallur districts. Rev Fr Roche Chinnappa from the Archdiocese of Madras–Mylapore took care of the distribution work in the north part of Chennai while Mr. Charles Kulandai organized the distribution in the Southern part of Chennai. In order to commemorate the 11th death anniversary of Mr Alfredo Cuomo, the Founder of Cuomo Foundation, this initiative was taken to mitigate the crisis faced by the downtrodden people during this pandemic situation.
