The newly rebuilt St Mary’s Primary School was officially opened on Feb 25th, 2016.

The opening ceremony was attended by members of the Foundation, the church authorities, headmistress, staff, pupils and parents. The new school will enable over 450 children an education in a well-equipped and appropriate school environment. The school replaces a dilapidated and run-down primary school and will be of positive benefit to the local rural communities and their families.

Most of the primary school children will continue their studies at the Amala Annai High School.
