At an outreach event on Raising Awareness of Climate Change organised by UNESCO and IPCC during the COP21 conference in Paris, our General Manager was a guest speaker presenting the Foundation’s work to an auditorium of delegates and officials.
Held at the Paris UNESCO headquarters on the 7th December 2015, Francisco Diaz Lison took part in the afternoon seminar on Education and Climate Change.
A short video highlighting our organisation’s work was followed by a 10 mins presentation by Mr Diaz on the actions, aims and commitment of the Foundation.
It was a great success and was officially applauded by Alexander Leicht (Chief of Education for Sustainable Development UNESCO) and by Bruce Stewart (Acting Secretary of IPCC) who acknowledged and praised the Foundation’s commitment and support for the IPCC Scholarship programme.
