Recognising the value of a transversal and multidisciplinary approach to tackle climate change, the Cuomo Foundation commits, via actions worldwide, to help preserve life on this planet.
Mr Francisco A. Diaz Lison, the CEO of the Foundation, will speak and offer a presentation during the Panel discussion on “Education and Climate Change” in the afternoon session.
Recognising the value of a transversal and multidisciplinary approach to tackle climate change, the Cuomo Foundation commits, via actions worldwide, to help preserve life on this planet. Since 2013, in collaboration with the IPCC, the Foundation has supported their scholarship programme on climate change.Selected doctoral students from developing countries are financially sponsored to conduct individual researches related to ecological and climate change issues facing their own environments.
This year, the Foundation has granted scholarships to four young researchers. Members of the Foundation had the pleasure to exchange with them during a special meeting held at the Foundation’s headquarters in October.
Following is a series of interviews, recorded during that event, in which the researchers present their investigations and give their opinion on Climate Change, placing the global issue within the specific context of their respective countries.
