The Amala Annai High School is being rebuilt and relocated a little distance from its current location. Work began in 2015 and is currently halfway to completion to open mid 2017.

This ambitious project will provide school buildings and grounds for 800 secondary school age boys and girls. This is a flagship school project for the Foundation incorporating environmental green issues and employing local workforce and materials. Many of the workers are parents of attending children.

The Foundation and the architect, Ms Priya Lourduraj, will be applying for consideration and eligibility for the Indian Green Building Council Award.
