Today we commemorate the 10th anniversary of the passing of Alfredo Cuomo, founder of the Cuomo Foundation. As a young top ranking Italian law student, he received the prestigious Fulbright Foreign Scholarship to study in the United States, which broadened his perspective on life and opportunities. On his return to Rome, he completed his studies and then successfully and creatively built his fortune in the international film industry.
Cultivated, passionate, interested in everything, he decided, at midlife, to dedicate a part of his fortune and himself to those who were most in needed.
