Maria Elena and Alfredo Cuomo established the Cuomo Foundation in order to empower and enable the young and disadvantaged, support the needy and enable artists to commit to their ambitions.

A private couple who never courted the public eye-their accomplishments for a long time remained unrecorded.

When Elena Cuomo found herself alone with the whole future of the Foundation in her hands, she chose to rise to the challenge, explore and further expand its aims, achievements and partnerships. Today, the Cuomo Foundation empowers and supports actions worldwide through Education, Medical and Social Welfare, Research and the Arts.

This book is a collection of the media coverage historically, which highlights some but not all of the Foundation’s work.
